Evangelism , Music and Fun !!!

I attended the Evangelistic Music Festival on Saturday (yesterday). It was "not bad". I can't really comment on it much coz' was really really tired.. but this year's EMF was somehow different in my opinion. It was the first time where there were no Klang Assemblies taking part.



Erm.. those of you out there wandering what is EMF ?? EMF, which stands for Evangelistic Music Festival is an annual Christian Music Competition that a few of the churches under IBA take part held in Port Klang Gospel Hall. It's one of 'those' highlights within the youths of Klang, Klang Jaya, and Port Klang Gospel Hall every year. This year however, none of our churches took part.. This year, Shah Alam, Bandar Utama and Bandar Sunway Gospel Hall competed for that winner's spot !! Deservingly (in my opinion), Bandar Sunway won by a landslide voting system. It was great to meet up with old friends, who are still all going strong for Jesus !! You guys know who you are , God bless you all abundantly !!



But we all know that , the most important result at the end of everything is that the Gospel was shared to approximately 70-100 non-Christians . So, I trust that God did his work through Uncle Dexter and the angels rejoiced in heaven as the non-believer gave their lives to Christ !!

"REST" Of My Life !!

Finally !!! After a long heavy busy schedule in the last 2 or 3 months. I thank God for and oppurtunity to REST !! In Lumut, I had an extremely wonderful time and had a wonderful rest. I have lots to say ..

First up, bout the hotel..
I (and my family) have travelled all over Malaysia and been to countless amount of local hotel since we can't go to other countries yet. Swiss Garden, Damai Laut (Lumut) has got to be in my top 3 best hotels in Malaysia (next to Avvilion, Port Dickson and Park Royal, Penang Island) ! They (Swiss Garden,Lumut) had just been awarded "Best Service and Hospitality" Award by the Tourism Malaysia Board. We didn't expext to be pampered with such warmth and hospitality. Everytime we ordered for room service, some staff would call and ask how was your food and everywhere you go, staff members won't think twice bout greeting you eventhough you see them all so busy. The staff was just so polite and hospitable. The hotel itself had nice grounds and the food was more than superb..

I learned that majority Sitiawan population are Christians !!

So when we went there on Sunday,

every shop in town was CLOSED !!

UNBELIEVABLE !!

All set..

It's all about TOMORROW .. My family is finally going to get their long awaited , well-deserved hols. Yay !! Going to Lumut isn't sound that much of thriller but I'll have to wait and see coz' the last time I went there.. Let's just say it didn't thrill me..


First off, I need to apologise for not blogging for the last few days or a week. It's been a really unusually tiring, happenng and stressful week. The words I've heard the most this week: ," TRUST GOD".. And with all the news about Adrian and Steffi going to the States, my time just seems closer and closer.. (Although I know mne's a bit futher.. *wink wink*) Sigh !!

Just trust God.. Now and forever more..

The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small ,unhabited island . He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him , and everyday he scanned the horizon for help , but none seemed forth coming .


Exhausted , he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect him from the elements , and to store his few possessions . But then one day , after scavenging for food , he arrived home to find his little hut on flames , the smokes rolling up into the sky ... The worst has happened ; everything he had was lost . He was stunned with grief and anger . " God , how can you do this to me ! " he cried .


Early the next day , however , he was awakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island . It had come to rescue him. "How did you know that I was here ? " he asked the captain of the ship. " We saw your smoke signals !!" replied the captain .


It was easy to get discouraged when things were going really wrong . But we shouldn't lose heart especially when people say and do things that hurt you soooo much.Just focus on God for He created everything and decides everything that happens .Nothing come to Him by suprise. All you have to do is be patient and wat for Him and His answers . Ecclesiastes 3:11 " ...Everything is beautiful in His time... " . God bless !!

God's way = best way !!

A little boy is telling Grandma how everything is going wrong . School , family problems , severe health problem , etc... Meanwhile , Grandma is baking a cake. She asks if her grandson would like a snack which of course , he does ."Here , have some cooking oil ." the grandmother asked ."Yuck , " says the boy in total disgust ."How about some raw eggs ? " asked Grandma again ." How about some flour then ? or maybe some baking soda ? " continued the grandmother ."GRANDMA !! Those are all yucky !! " screeched the young boy .To which Grandma replies ," Yes , all these things seem bad by themselves but when you put it together in the right way , they make a a wonderfully delicious cake !!"



Well, God works in the same way. Many times we wonder why he would let us go through such bad and difficult times . But God knows that when He put all these things in His order , they always will work for good ! We just have to trust Him and eventually, they will all make something wonderful ! He could have lived anywhere in the universe ... HE chose your heart.
